Sonic collage, rhythmic static, micro-melodies and warm bass wash through this weeks show as we pay homage to the lunar eclipse and ensuing red moon that graced some places in the world last night. Warm and inviting yet mildly sinister, expect the unexpected on the night of a red moon. The russet hue is caused by residual sunlight that is deflected towards the moon through the Earth's
atmosphere, most of which is light in the red part of the spectrum.
Some beautiful shots of the moon were taken last night, i did a quick search on Flickr and came up with these incredible shots . Be sure to check em out. Just breathtaking.
Enjoy!

Premonitions by plants will be taking a rest once a fortnight to make way for a new show, Resonant Tapestry, hosted on straightup.com.au, and syndicated here twice a month.
As we say sayonara to Summer, and welcome the rich dusky hues and chilly bite of Autumn, Resonant Tapestry explores found sounds, lost visions, micro melodies and driving minimal rhythms. We feature new Polish artist Etamski, and further explore the work by Australian artists Lawrence English, Ai Yamamoto and Triosk. Listen out for the brilliant Faux Pas remix of Pisces vs Aquarius by Aleks and the Ramps.
