Sofie will be teaming with community arts groups Shopfront and Marrickville Youth Resource centre this month. She has been appointed Sound Designer for Shopfronts theatre project "NeoSun" and MYRC's multimedia hip hop performance "Ghettin Through"

Sofie has finished working on a project with composer Gavin Lockley, on the orchestral score for Cavalcade, Reins of fire, performing at the Entertainment Centre in Sydney and other venues around Australia.

Meanwhile she is also working on an album project for singer/songwriter Jacqui Hunt, formerly from the band Single Gun Theory.

If that ain't enough, she is also working on projects for independent Sydney artists MC Zoe Zee, Yunyu and Bone Infekta

Sofie will be presenting on two panels at Sound Summit, as part of the This is Not Art Festival in Newcastle. She is also performing at the opening of Electrofringe, on Thursday 6th October 2005 @ 10:30pm

Sofie will be DJ'ing at the MusiCairns festival @ Electropica on the 11th of September and @ Backdrop on the 12 September 2005. For more info goto musicairns.com

Its rest and recuperation time after the month long European journey. Sofie will be performing at High Jinks on August 20th @ the Sly Fox in Enmore as part of the R and R process.
