Sofie Loizou is a sound artist living in Sydney Australia. Living in a large city, she has studied how city dwellers detune themselves to the urban soundtrack, deeming the clamour "noise pollution". She offers a different way to experience urban noise, by translating it into music.

Collaborating with a sound artist Dawid Szczesny who lives in Wroclaw, Poland,  they aim to connect these two distant cities by intertwining their commonality.

For the last two years, since meeting at the Red Bull Music Academy, Sofie and Dawid have been working together via the world wide web, exchanging musical ideas and works that have culminated into a series of aural experiments that combine their own styles of music with field recordings, organic machines, and an overriding sense of the beauty in musical connections.

Taking advantage this sonic meeting of the minds, this performance aims to incite the cross-pollination of the emotional lanscape of two cities.
