  • A Guide To All (Or Most) Computer Video Audio And Data Cables ...
I often wonder why the powers that be chose to create so many damn cables. As and audiophile and an intermediate IT technician I am forever scourging through bundles of wires trying to find the correct one for the task at hand.

  • lousy hunter: Spicy wholewheat linguine with basil pangritata
Pangritata translates from Italian as 'poor man's Parmesan', and is a mixture of toasted bread and herbs. You do discover when you add pangritata to pasta there is no need for additional Parmesan but perhaps if you do have it in add it as the pangritata starts to disappear for extra flavour. The basil pangritata I made here with the roasted lemony and tomato sauce and nutty linguine gives this dish a gorgeous Mediterranean flavour and it's a really easy meal to bang out on a whim.

  • Cultural policy in Australia | More Than Luck
?Cultural policy? is not often thought of as an important topic of public affairs. That?s odd when you consider that culture touches on many of the things that Australians do, see, hear and engage with everyday. Watching television, reading a newspaper, playing a computer game, updating your Facebook status, sending a tweet, going to a bar to see comedy, even things like gardening and cooking: all of these activities are explicitly cultural.

  • Behold The Chipophone, The Amazing Chiptune Organ
When a friend asked Swedish software engineer Linus Åkesson to take an old electric organ off his hands, Linus agreed, as long as he could do anything he wanted to it, and what he did is incredibly impressive.

Linus took that electric organ and reverse-engineered it, transforming it into the Chipophone, the ultimate instrument for a live-action chiptune performance. Just watch Linus performing the theme from 1985's ZX Spectrum game Spellbound.

  • Sydney University Radio Group|SURG| » About SURG
SURG, or the Sydney University Radio Group, is a student group that is governed and supported by the University of Sydney Union.

We are a not-for-profit radio station that broadcasts on the 90.9FM frequency at different times during the year from the Sydney University campus in Camperdown. We have an outide-broadcast caravan which we use during O-Week, late February and early March. In September we broadcast throughout the VERGE Arts Festival from our studio space in Manning House.

We also organise for our members to participate in broadcasts and workshops run by nearby community radio stations such as Fbi and 2SER.

We are always looking for material to play on air, if you are a current member of the Sydney Uni community we look forward to hearing your sounds.

The User Datagram Protocol (UDP) is one of the core members of the Internet Protocol Suite, the set of network protocols used for the Internet. With UDP, computer applications can send messages, in this case referred to as datagrams, to other hosts on an Internet Protocol (IP) network without requiring prior communications to set up special transmission channels or data paths. UDP is sometimes called the Universal Datagram Protocol.

  • Conductive Thread Overview - Fashioning Technology
I get a lot of questions regarding which conductive thread I prefer or use. Unfortunately there is no ONE ideal thread ? it really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. That being said, I have diligently created a review of all the threads I have tinkered with to share with all of you. This list will be updated as I continue to experiment with new materials. Next will be my review on the fabrics ? so stay tuned.
